Not choosing is still a choice. It's just letting circumstances choose for you.
Most of us start backwards. We say yes to everything, trying to avoid disappointing anyone. We spread ourselves so thin that we end up disappointing everyone - just a little bit, just enough that it adds up. Our calendar becomes a graveyard of good intentions.
The result? Everything suffers. Important work gets rushed. Relationships get leftover energy. Health takes a backseat. Dreams collect dust.
