Dear Unlearners,

Good enough is where dreams go to die.

Being above average is the most dangerous form of mediocrity. It gives you just enough success to justify not being exceptional.

Above average is just mediocrity with better marketing.

I see it in my circle. People who are:

  • Smart enough to have good jobs

  • Talented enough to get promotions

  • Successful enough to be comfortable

  • Rich enough to not be hungry

They're doing better than most. And that's the trap.

Above average becomes the perfect excuse for not being extraordinary. You're not failing enough to be desperate. Not succeeding enough to be satisfied. Just floating in the golden middle where potential goes to retire.

Your skills are good enough to pay bills but not enough to build wealth. Your job is good enough to stay but not good enough to love. Your business is good enough to survive but not enough to scale.
