Quit reading books that fail to captivate your interest or bring you joy.
Quit spending time with people who are incompatible with your values, goals, and aspirations.
Quit engaging in activities that no longer serve your long-term happiness and fulfillment.
Quit settling for mediocrity and embrace a mindset of continuous improvement and growth.
Quit dwelling on past mistakes and failures that prevent you from moving forward and embracing new opportunities.
Quit seeking validation from others and start valuing your own self-worth and capabilities.
Quit making excuses and take responsibility for your actions and decisions.
Quit holding onto grudges and resentment; forgive others for your own peace of mind.
Quit seeking perfection and embrace the beauty of imperfection and the lessons it brings.
Quit worrying about things beyond your control and focus on what you can influence.
...
Learn to quit.
Question of the day - What's one thing you've successfully "quit" that improved your life?
The common and usually well-intended idea of
"Quit spending time with people who are incompatible with your values, goals, and aspirations."
is one of "separation".
In case you are not familiar with the term/concept, it means that it's seemingly easier to get away from the offending party than to 'engage'. Truth is that it's the other way around.
I'd love to discuss, if you so like, if not, please read one of my article on "How to do nothing" (which what happens when you 'quit'). (https://substack.com/home/post/p-140880024)
